REMOVAL: All items must be removed within 6 (six) business days after the date and time that the item is sold. Removals will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ALL ITEMS MUST BE LOADED AND REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY BY 3:00 P.M. ON OCTOBER 21, 2019 - NO EXCEPTIONS. Regarding any items that remain on the auction lot after the final day for removal, buyers will be charged a storage fee of $25.00 per day/per item (including weekends). Storage fees must be paid before the vehicle can be released to the buyer. Storage fees are to be paid at the Accounting Dept., 1625 13th St., Lubbock, Texas 79457. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website. City decals and logos, unit numbers, license plates, fuel rings, emergency light bars, radios, and electrical equipment have been removed from vehicles/equipment. Vehicles may contain holes: holes on the roof, doors, trunks, and any other parts that had any kind of equipment screwed/unscrewed which includes the interior of vehicles. The interior may have screws/holes on the floor, dashboard or on any other area where the equipment was located. Please be advised that the condition of the vehicle may change do to the weather conditions, rain, hail damage, etc. Do expect wear & tear on vehicle/item. The City of Lubbock is NOT responsible for any damage on the vehicle/item before or after the auction is complete, even when the vehicle/item has been paid off. The City of Lubbock will NOT be responsible for any damages. The Seller DOES NOT provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Any and all methods of lifting, towing, and hauling, as well as all other methods or requirements for the removal and transport of the materials, equipment and/or vehicles, is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
